Tribenda (Triclabendazole) 1000mg tablets are powerful anthelmintics (dewormers) primarily used for treating Fascioliasis, a liver fluke infection in humans, by killing immature and adult liver flukes like Fasciola hepatica. It's also used in animals (cattle, sheep, goats) for liver fluke and some external parasites like mites and lice, working by inhibiting microtubule formation in the worms. This prescription drug is taken with food for a few doses as directed by a doctor.
